Give your car a shine with car wax
01/15/09
Car wax acts as a protection from the various harmful environmental effects. A properly applied car wax not only provides a glossy look but also prevents peeling off the original paint and offers resistance against minor scratches and stains. Always remember to wash and dry your car before applying any kind of wax. There are a multiple of reasons to park your car away from the extreme weather because direct sunrays and a strong current of wind will wipe off the layers of applied wax before you could even relish the results.
The Steps
Just take a small amount of wax on a damp sponge and apply it in circles. Apply wax to different sections but remember the path you took. Be careful when applying wax near the joints of car doors and hood as the accumulating wax can harm the levers. After waxing the entire vehicle in patches, take a soft cloth to start cleaning the wax from the initial start point. While cleaning, you will notice that the wax will gradually build up on the cleaning cloth. Don't forget to shake off the wax, regularly. After cleaning, take a closer look and you might notice very small round stains. You must get rid of the remaining residual wax. The final step is to clean the entire vehicle with another soft cloth before enjoying that exhibition type look.
